Do I need an off road Buggy?

No! Any Buggy will do. The little ones can snooze in their prams or happily watch the action from their buggy and older children can be involved in the class.

Can I bring older children?

Yes all are welcome and in the holidays bring your older ones for a workout.

How soon after having my baby can I come to class?

Once you have had the sign off from your doctor at your post-natal check up (usually around 6-8 weeks postpartum).  Any return to exercise will need to be gradual and take into account any pelvic issues, diastasis recti, feeding pattern of baby etc.  For many months after having a baby you will have the hormone relaxin in your body which can result in your joints being much more flexible than normal.  This will also be taken into account with any training methods used.

All our instructors are specialist pre and post-natal personal trainers and have had lots of experience both with pregnant ladies looking to maintain fitness levels during pregnancy and new mums who are looking to embark on their fitness journey after having a baby.

Do you offer pay as you go?

Yes we do offer PAYG classes - they are £8.00 and can be booked via the website.

Do I need to be fit to come along to class?

No!  The main benefit of the class is that we help you from the very beginning of your post-natal fitness journey.  Through our knowledge and experience we can adapt all the exercises to suit whatever level you are at.

What type of training would we be doing?

The sessions can include a variety of training methods such as HIIT, strength training, functional training, free weights and body weight exercises, boxing, kettlebells etc.  We like to keep things varied and fun!  You can however be assured all the training methods used are safe and appropriate for post-natal ladies.

What if I can’t do it/find it too hard, the plan you set?

As experienced instructors we always ask for feedback to ensure the class is working for you and is achievable.  We can very easily adapt based on this feedback and any other changes which occur along the way.  We have worked with people of all levels of fitness and are adept in making changes along the way.  All we ask of you is to try your best and always provide us with feedback.

Can I bring a guest?

Of course! We would love for you to introduce more mums to the group! It’s really easy to come along, simply buy one of guest passes online here for £8. Your guest will need to complete the online health form first.

What do I need to wear/bring to the session?

Well fitting trainers and comfortable clothing you can move in are a must.  A good fitting sports bra is also essential.  We can provide advice on all the above, along with information on a discount at a local Winchester based independent sports shop. All you will need to bring along to the sessions is yourself, water, rug/mat and items such as a hat, sun cream , gloves etc depending on the time of year as we are based outside.  Also bring along anything you need for your baby/children. Buggy's and children are not essential!

Can I train if I’m pregnant?

Yes, as long as your midwife/doctor has given the go ahead.  All sessions can be adapted through the trimesters to account for your changing body.

Can I train if i have an injury or health condition?

Each case will be different and this is one of the reason we ask for the health form to be completed prior to coming to a class. We will contact you prior to your free trial or can be discussed at your free trial.  We will discuss any injuries/conditions which will require adaptations or in some cases may require referral to another professional.
